Volunteer Program

We have five learning opportunities available to members of the public who would like to have hands on experience working with animals or inspiring conservation action to save wildlife species that remain in our life time. These include;
1.     Behind the Scenes,
2.     Long Stay Volunteer Program,
3.     Keeper for a Day Program,
4.     Chimpanzee Close up,
5.     Work Placement/ Opportunities (for students)
The duration of the programs vary from just a couple of hours to three months, depending on one’s interest and availability.
If one has successfully completed the health requirements, one can have the opportunity to work with our closest relatives- the chimpanzees, in addition to other primates at the facility. The programs are skills oriented and aimed at inspiring conservation action among the participants. At the end of the program, we can successfully say that people go back with changed attitudes and behaviors; willing to care and speak for animals; as well as advancing their career in wildlife world wide!
We welcome students and other members of the public regardless of age, education or race to take part in the program.
