UWEC participates in the WAZA Visitor Survey
As a member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquarium (WAZA), the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC) is proud to be participate and administer a new visitor survey tool over the next three months.
The tool was developed by the WAZA education and technical team to;  identify  factors  that may contribute to impacts; in terms of the visitor experiences/ knowledge, visitor concern about animal conservation status, repeat visits, areas that need improvement among others.
The tools further identifies positive conservation actions that the visitor can adopt at the end of the visit.  At UWEC, the tool will significantly help us evaluate the impact of our onsite conservation education and animal management programs on; school and communities groups, plus other visitors and further inform the direction of our outreach education campaigns.
The tool will directly compliment the survey machine already in existence, and will be administered randomly and feedback sent to the WAZA team for analysis and interpretation.
Please help us improve the facility by taking part in this survey during your next visit at the Education Centre. Ask our Front Desk team or Educators at the exhibit after your visit.
